Key Dates & Events in SEERS History
SEERS Medical was established in 2008 by two former Akron directors with over 50 years combined experience in the medical equipment industry, in particular the R&D, manufacture and worldwide sales of examination and treatment couches. This experience and extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry enables SEERS Medical to tailor product design to meet specific customer needs and drives product development.
In 2010, SEERS Medical expanded its manufacturing facility and acquired the current head office now based in Debenham, Suffolk. The significantly increased production capacity, occupying over 5 acres and now provides over 40,000 square feet for the design, manufacture, distribution, sales and customer support of the SEERS Medical product range.
London Olympic Games
In 2012, SEERS Medical were proud to be a supplier to the 2012 Olympic Games, in London. After an arduous tender process, SEERS Medical were selected from over fifty healthcare suppliers to provide medical furniture and equipment required for the Olympic Games.
Queens Award for Enterprise
Awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise and International Trade, in recognition for outstanding export sales growth in 2013. SEERS Medical continues to build and develop International trade year on year, with distributors in over 70 countries worldwide.
Extensive Range Development
In 2014, the product range expanded to complement the continued success of the examination and treatment couch ranges. The new product lines included the following.
In 2015, we were accredited with ISO 9001:2008 quality management system, awarded to SEERS Medical in recognition of consistent provision of products and services that meet the needs of our customers. ISO 14001 accreditation was awarded for SEERS Medicals environmental management system, which maps out a framework that the company can follow to provide effective management.

In 2017, SEERS were proud to obtain ISO 13485:2016, being successfully audited by Lloyds (LRQA).
This has allowed us to continue to grow and develop our export business, exporting to now over 75 countries worldwide.

COVID-19 Pandemic & Virtual Expo 2020

With international exhibitions cancelled, SEERS host their first 'Virtual Expo' from HQ in Debenham, Suffolk.
