Warehouse Project Complete

Last week, SEERS Medical hosted an event to celebrate the company's 15th anniversary, and the official opening of the new 12,000 sqft warehouse. Most members of staff were present, along with some local suppliers and service providers to the business.

The expansion project started in May 2022, starting with a new front car park, increasing parking capacity for staff and visitors. The car park features electric vehicle charging stations for the ever-growing fleet of electric vehicles.

In September 2022, construction of the new warehouse commenced, along with a new rear car park and hard-standing area. The new facility allows SEERS to fulfil increasing customer demand in the UK and the global healthcare market, with products in use in 90+ countries around the world, seeing the business almost double in turnover in the last 5 years.

Having seen a steady increase in export sales in the past 6 years, the warehouse was built with state-of-the-art dock-side loading bays to increase the speed and efficiency of container loading, more than halving the time it used to take.

The additional on-site space allows smarter storage of raw materials and provides an additional area to complete production processes, which will assist in reducing manufacturing lead times by increasing efficiency.

This project was supported by Esposito Architecture, Richard Jackson Limited and JCN Associates and was constructed by Rose Builders.
