New Recruit & Role Changes!

Recently, SEERS has taken on a new recruit in their marketing team and some members of the team have a new role in the company!

The newest addition to SEERS is Leah! With experience in business development, Leah has joined the team to assist with contacting new and existing customers to advise and assist with product requirements.

Here's what she had to say after 2 weeks in the role:

"My name is Leah, I am new to SEERS and I am really excited to have joined the team and learn new skills, as well as progress within my career and gain more experience. The attitude at SEERS is calm and organised and I feel this makes me very motivated and comfortable working here."

Leah has already begun building a rapport with customers already and will continue to assist both new and current SEERS customers with advice and information about the products and services that we provide.

Darren, who joined 5 years ago in February 2014, had been Area Sales Manager for the Midlands & Northern England. He has recently been promoted to Direct Sales Manager for England & Wales, which involves visiting customers face-to-face, assisting them over the phone and building a relationship with each and every opportunity.

Darren's wealth of knowledge and sales capabilities largely benefit our customers within the NHS, in all departments. From Cardiology to Outpatients, Darren can advise the ideal couch for any medical application.

For any sales enquiries or product information, you can contact Darren here: info@seersmedical.com

In April 2018, Ian began working at SEERS to assist the management of our new Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.

Having previously worked in a supply-chain role within the automotive industry, Ian had experience in a similar tool and quickly knew his way around the software.

After a busy 10 months in the role, in February 2019, Ian was deservedly promoted to Purchasing & Inventory Manager. He will continue to coordinate and communicate with suppliers to ensure the supply chain for manufacturing is as seamless as possible.

Another change in the team is the relocation of Carly's role. Since January 2014, Carly had assisted with sales order processing of all SEERS products & services. Her main focus, however, was on product servicing & repairs.

This led to the relocation of Carly's role transferring to Spares & Servicing Coordinator. This entails the processing of any spare parts, replacement upholstery and service call-out orders, along with ensuring packages are dispatched as soon as possible.

Another part of the role is coordinating service visits with our Service & Logistics team, ensuring both the customer and SEERS engineer can facilitate a visit to maintain or repair a product.

Paul, who's now been with the company for over 8 years and with many years of experience with AKRON Products Division, had been a part of the production team, recently focusing on the manufacturing of our Ergonomic Seating range.

Paul then displayed an interest in becoming a Service Engineer, and has visited many customers throughout the South of England already. His abundance of product knowledge, both of SEERS and AKRON, makes him a great asset to the Service & Logistics team.

He now works alongside Mick, Ryan, Martyn & Carly on servicing, repairs and installations across the UK.

Lyndsey, who has been part of the SEERS team since December 2014, has also progressed to the role of Sales Office Team Leader. This is after 4 years working in sales order processing and customer service, mainly focusing on export sales and the coordination of freight collections and deliveries.

Her team now consists of 3, with the assistance of Abby and Ella, who provide customers all around the world with documentation, quotations and answers to  questions. They also provide customer service over the phone, and more often than not, are the voices answering the main SEERS phone line.

We wish the best of luck to our new recruit, Leah, along with Darren, Carly, Paul and Lyndsey in their new job roles at SEERS Medical!
